On Tuesday, August 12th, 2008 at 9:00 AM, the following individual was arrested by the Portsmouth Police Department as a result of an arrest warrant:

Date of birth 07/08/68

Eliot, Maine

He is charged with:

Breach of Bail Conditions (class A Misdemeanor),
2 counts of Fugitive from Justice (Felonies).

These charges are the result of Mr. Nelson allegedly contacting the victim in a case where he was arrested by the Portsmouth Police Department on June 16th, 2008. There was a no contact order in place between Mr. Nelson and the victim that was set as part of his bail conditions in that case.

The State of Maine also has outstanding arrest warrants for Mr. Nelson for violation of a protective order and a domestic violence related assault. Mr. Nelson was processed at the Portsmouth Police Department and bail has been set for $5,000 cash, and he is scheduled for arraignment in Portsmouth District Court on Sept. 22nd, 2008 at 8:30 AM. He is currently at the Rockingham House of Corrections.
