Reference: Attempted Armed Robbery
During the afternoon of October 25, 2009, a lone male subject entered the Subway sandwich shop located at 29 Vaughn Mall. The male passed a note to the clerk demanding the money from the register. Although no weapon was displayed, the male acknowledged that he had a gun.
The suspect was described as a white male, 5’8” to 5’10” with a medium build, wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, sunglasses and a light colored scarf. He was also wearing yellow colored gloves at the time of the incident. The male was unsuccessful in obtaining money and after running from the store, he ran down the Vaughn Mall towards Hanover Street.
