Reference: Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault arrest
April 2nd, 2006
On Saturday, April 1st, 2006 at approximately 8:05 PM, the Portsmouth Police department arrested the following individual at his residence:
Harold Joseph Ecker Jr.
Date of birth 06/22/62
422 Banfield Road
Portsmouth, NH
Mr. Ecker was arrested as a result of an arrest warrant for:
Two counts of Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault, contrary to NH RSA 632-A: 2.
Both of these are Felony charges, and are a result of an investigation by the Portsmouth Police Department’s Bureau of Investigative Services. It is alleged that Mr. Ecker sexually assaulted an adult female victim during the early morning hours of April 1st at his residence. A search warrant was also executed at his residence where evidence was seized.
Mr. Ecker was transported to the Portsmouth Police Department where he was processed and released on $10,000 personal recognizance bail. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Portsmouth District Court on Monday, April 24th, 2006.
