Reference: Narcotics Search and Arrest
Date of Release: May 20, 2005
On May 20, 2005, the Portsmouth Police Department Special Investigations Unit along with members of the Bureau of Patrol Services executed a search at the address of 579 State Street apartment number 2. This search was pursuant to a search warrant, which had been issued by the Portsmouth District Court earlier in the evening.
As a result of this search a quantity of marijuana was located along with other items used in the possession and sale of marijuana.
The following individual was arrested:

Date of Birth 03.23.60
For the criminal offenses of:
One complaint of Possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute
Two complaints of Sale of controlled drug
This arrest and search of the Lynch residence is the culmination of a five-month investigation into the criminal activity of Mark Lynch within the City of Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
There were no injuries resulting from this search and arrest.
Lynch was released on $5,000.00 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the Portsmouth District Court on June 13, 2005.
