Reference: Simple Assault on Pierce Island

The Portsmouth Police is looking for assistance in identifying a suspect in a simple assault that occurred on Pierce Island on Saturday, May 27th. On May 27th at approximately 4:30pm a female was walking her dogs on Pierce Island when she was confronted by another female who was running on the island. After an exchange of words, the female who was running began to choke the female who was walking the dogs. An unknown couple, who were walking on the pathway where this was occurring, interrupted the assault.

The suspect female is described as a white female in her 40s, 55, 160 pounds with long dark brown hair and tanned skin wearing dark blue/black spandex shorts and a light blue tank top.
