Reference: Street closures for parade on Saturday, August 6th, 2005
There will be streets closed to traffic on Saturday, August 6th for the Portsmouth Welcoming/Military Appreciation Day parade.
The parade will begin at 2:00 PM on Market Street at the Port Authority, and proceed to Market Square, up Congress Street, left onto Fleet Street, left onto State Street, right onto Marcy Street, and into Strawbery Banke.
The City of Portsmouth welcomes all to enjoy the parade and show support for our military personnel, and to plan accordingly for these street closures. It is anticipated that the closures will be for approximately one hour from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
