Reference: Violent Assault at Gosling Meadows
On August 24, 2006 at approximately 6:00 PM, Portsmouth Police patrol officers and detectives responded to the area of 13 Winsor Rd. in Gosling Meadows for an investigation of a fight involving assaults with glass bottles and a knife.
As a result of the initial investigation, the following individual was arrested:
Heath Robert Chase

28A Mill St., Rochester, NH
Chase was charged with Second Degree Assault and Possession of a Controlled Drug, Oxycontin.
Chase is being held without bail on charges that he is in breach of conditions of his release on bail previously set on July 13, 2006 in Portsmouth District Court. At that time, Chase was arraigned on charges of Simple Assault and Resisting Arrest and is scheduled to stand trial on those charges on August 29, 2006.
Information on a second suspect in a stabbing at the scene of this incident is still being sought by police.
