Reference: Drug seizure and arrests

On Friday, October 13, 2006 at approximately 9:00 PM, members of the Portsmouth Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit along with units of the Patrol Division arrested two people involved in the sale of Crack Cocaine within Portsmouth.
The following individuals were arrested:

Sale of a narcotic drug
Possession of a narcotic drug with intent to distribute
Resisting arrest
Elmer Edmondson
Date of birth 10-08-60
29 Irving St.
Winchester, MA
Conspiracy to sell a narcotic drug
Seized during the arrest was over $1000 worth of Crack Cocaine, $600 cash and a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
This follows an ongoing investigation by the Special Investigations Unit into the illicit distribution of drugs in the Seacoast and Portsmouth in particular.
