On Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at 1:00 PM, the following individual turned himself in to the Portsmouth Police Department as a result of an arrest warrant:

He is charged with:
Facilitating an Underage Alcohol House Party (class A Misdemeanor).
This arrest is the result of the Portsmouth Police Department assisting the Rye Police Department in the investigation of the fatal car crash that occurred in Rye in the early morning hours of June 23, 2007. This car crash resulted in the death of 20 year old Jhaime Dye, a resident of Rye.
During the course of this investigation, it was determined that Mr. Dye attended a party the evening before he died at 60 Market Street in Portsmouth. This party was hosted by Matthew Evans, and it was determined that Mr. Dye consumed alcohol there.
Mr. Evans was processed at the Portsmouth Police Department and released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail. He is scheduled for arraignment in Portsmouth District Court on October 29th, 2007
