Reference: New Speed Awareness Trailer

The Portsmouth Police Department, with funding through the New Hampshire Highway Safety Administration, has purchased a new speed awareness trailer. The trailer, is a portable, self-contained speed display unit that is used as a tool to remind motorist to slow down. This is the second such board purchased with the help of the New Hampshire Highway Safety Administration and is a response to citizen complaints about speeding in their communities. Speeding remains the #1 cause of accidents and we hope this tool helps educate the public and reduce speeding motorist in the community.
