On November 9, 2005, Portsmouth Police arrested:

Age 17
The arrest was made by the High School Resource Officer, Corey MacDonald at Portsmouth High School for alleged drug dealing in the cafeteria. The drug in question was Oxycodone, a narcotic analgesic often prescribed to combat post surgery pain.
Charles Hansen is charged with the following offenses:
Five counts of Sale of a Controlled/Narcotic Drug RSA 318-B 2,I
Two counts of Possession of a Controlled/Narcotic Drug – Marijuana RSA 318-B 2,I
The sale of a controlled drug is a class A felony, punishable by 7 ½ - 15 years in prison and a fine. Possession of a controlled drug – marijuana is class A misdemeanor, punishable by up to one year in jail and a fine.
Five other high school students are facing school administrative action for consumption of the drugs Mr. Hansen is charged with distributing.
The Portsmouth Police Department and the administration of the Portsmouth Senior High School maintain a zero tolerance policy towards drug possession and distribution. Violators of this policy will be arrested in addition to facing school administrative penalties.
