Reference: Robbery at Holiday Inn

The Portsmouth Police Department is currently investigating a robbery that occurred at 2:30am at the Holiday Inn, 300 Woodbury Avenue in Portsmouth. The suspect entered the business, and while holding the clerk at gunpoint, took an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect then left the scene, direction unknown. The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 5 foot 6 inches tall, medium build, wearing dark clothing. New Hampshire State Police assisted the Portsmouth Police in searching the area for the suspect with no success. Portsmouth police detectives were called to the scene for evidence processing.
