Project #14: Renovation of Plains Park & Playground

UPDATE: The City will be continuing work this Spring to complete construction on the Plains Avenue Park Improvement project. The remaining work includes installing trees and landscaping, bleachers, trash & recycling receptacles, and top course of asphalt with striping.   Work hours will be scheduled as to not disrupt Little League activities this spring, but please be aware of materials and construction conditions on site when enjoying the park."

Project Description: This project will result in various improvements to the existing facilities including the relocation of the playground and installation of new equipment; improved traffic and pedestrian circulation; new parking areas; drainage improvements and installation of new trees, picnic tables and bleachers as well as other streetscape improvements along Plains Avenue. Final aspects of work, including plantings, final paving, loaming & seeding will be completed in Spring of 2013.
