Thanksgiving Holiday Curbside Collection Schedule

            On Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27, 2009 – in honor of the Thanksgiving Holiday, a time dedicated to giving thanks - Portsmouth City offices, including the Department of Public Works and the Recycling Center will be closed. 

Some changes have been made to the curbside collection of trash and recyclable waste.  Please note the schedule below:

 

On Friday, November 27, 2009, although City offices are closed, there will be curbside collection of trash and recyclables as regularly scheduled.

There will be no yard waste collection on Wednesday, November 25, Thursday, November 26 or Friday, November 27, 2009.

The Recycling Center’s hours are:

Tuesdays, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Wednesdays, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Thursdays 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM – Closed in recognition of the Thanksgiving Holiday
Saturdays, 8:00 AM – noon
