Sales utilized in the 2024 revaluation include properties that are:

  1. Arm’s length transactions in which buyers and sellers who are not related act in their own best interest without influence. The opposite of an arm's length transaction is a non-arm's length transaction, which involves two parties who have a personal or business relationship before the sale.
     
  2. Sales in which there have been no changes to the property prior to the finalization of the sales analysis that would affect the value of the property for example, renovations, additions, land use approvals or change of use of the property.
