Coalition Communities 2.0
The City has tracked education funding legislation relative to the Statewide Education Property Tax (SWEPT) for many years. In 2021, the City of Portsmouth and other towns that retain excess SWEPT created the Coalition Communities 2.0 (CC2) to hire a lobbyist to track education funding issues related to SWEPT.
