PLEASE NOTE: Since January 1, 2019, the 6 types of Building permits are all consolidated into a single application through the ViewPoint system. Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical, and Fire permits will remain separate applications.
ViewPoint Cloud is the software that powers the City of Portsmouth's online permitting center. Through ViewPoint you can apply for all City Inspection permits online. With this new system, you will be able to: submit an application from anywhere 24/7, monitor the status of the application online, and receive notifications via email as your application is reviewed and processed.
