Crack sealing is a proven, cost-effective form of preventative maintenance that helps extend the lifespan of paved roads.
Nicom Coating Corporation of Berlin, Vermont has been awarded the contract for this work. The operation shall consist of a crew of about six workers, cleaning, routing, and applying sealant to pavement cracks. Certain roads that have been treated in recent years will be touched up.
This operation will limit traffic in the immediate area to an alternating, one-lane pattern. Flaggers and/or uniformed officers shall be present on either end of the operation to direct traffic. Users of these roads should expect minor delays during operations.
