2019 Statistical Revaluation

The City of Portsmouth is currently undergoing a Statistical Revaluation of Residential and Commercial properties throughout the City for the 2019 tax year.  A presentation was held June 17, 2019, before the Portsmouth City Council discussing the preliminary analysis by Vision Government Solutions which was recorded and can be viewed along with a copy of the power point presentation on the Assessor’s Web page.   Value change notices are expected to be mailed the week of July 8, 2019, and a taxpayer forum is scheduled July 17, 2019, at 6:00 pm in the City Council Chambers.  This forum will discuss further the revaluation efforts by the Assessor’s Office and Vision Government Solutions.
