25th Annual Halloween parade October 31st

The Portsmouth Halloween Parade is an all-volunteer effort, not a City-sponsored event. The parade steps off from Peirce Island at 7 pm and ends at Prescott Park. The parade route proceeds down Daniel Street into Market Square. Please click here for the official Portsmouth Halloween Parade website for all parade details.
Residents and visitors alike are encouraged to take advantage of the following transportation and parking amenities throughout Halloween, October 31st:
- The Foundry Place Parking Garage offers free parking from 5 to 9 pm.
- Portsmouth’s Parking Shuttle will also operate from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. This shuttle allows for easy parking at the Connect Community Church's parking lot off Market Street, and quick transportation to the downtown at the Hanover Street bus stop - all free of charge.
Please note that streets that are part of the parade route are closed to traffic, starting at 6 p.m.
