City Council Ends Free Parking; Continues Curbside Pickup Zones

The Portsmouth City Council has resumed normal Parking operations as of April 21, 2020.  

On-street and public garage parking fees apply as of 4.21.20. Patrons with monthly parking contracts in the garages are receiving credit to their accounts for the entire free-parking period. Adjustments will be made in the May bills for any April payments made to date.

In response to continuing Stay At Home orders during the COVID-19 pandemic, restaurants that are open are limited to takeout/pickup and delivery service. To support those businesses, the City continues to designate a number of 15-minute curbside pickup parking zones close to the restaurants that remain open for takeout. Please look for the signs and be aware that the time limits in those zones is 15 minutes.
