Conservation Commission Earth Day Trail Cleanup

Earth Day is April 22 and the Conservation Commission is celebrating with a stewardship event of one of the largest protected conservation areas in Portsmouth, the Great Bog!

Join us from 9am - 12pm for a trail cleanup where we will work on clearing the Great Bog recreational trails and removing invasive species. Volunteers are encouraged to bring water, gloves, tall boots, and pruning tools (i.e. loppers, rakes, hand pruners, handsaws, etc. - we will do our best to provide a limited amount). Volunteers will also receive a free seed packet to bring home some native species to their own backyard! We will meet at the end of Heather Lane in Portsmouth.
