Climate Ambassador Training (Virtual)

The City of Portsmouth along with one of our Climate Action Plan consultants, Resilience Planning & Design, will be hosting a training for any interested Climate Ambassadors next Tuesday May 16th from 6-7pm over Zoom. In this meeting we are aiming to highlight what the role of a Climate Ambassador entails, how you can help spread the word about and gain support for Portsmouth’s Climate Future, and how we can build a community engagement platform that will last long after the Plan has been published.

In this short training, we will provide you with a guide that will help us gather more information on the community’s interests and needs when it comes to planning for greenhouse gas reductions. It is our hope that together, we can bring this guide out into our different friend/neighborhood/church/business groups to gather this data and help to better inform the Plan while building interest in climate action and resilience.
