October 13, 2017
The Portsmouth Planning Department and Planning Board are welcoming public input on the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) for Fiscal Year 2019 to 2024. Residents are asked to submit projects for consideration in the next CIP by Friday, October 13th. The CIP sets forth a 6-year schedule and financing strategy to accomplish necessary public improvements and meet infrastructure needs. The Planning Board oversees the development of the Capital Improvement Plan, which supports the Board’s responsibilities to prepare and amend the City’s Master Plan.
Residents are encouraged to visit the City’s CIP webpage for viewing of the current CIP, full background on the CIP process and access to the Citizen Project Request form.
This year’s CIP schedule and access to the public input form. All project requests will be reviewed by the appropriate City Department and shared with the Planning Board CIP Subcommittee for consideration in this year’s or future year’s Capital Improvement Program.
