Portsmouth Seeking Public Input on Capital Improvement Plan FY2021-2026
September 9, 2019
The Portsmouth Planning Department and Planning Board are welcoming public input on the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) for Fiscal Year 2021 to 2026 (July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2026). Residents are asked to submit projects for consideration in the next CIP by October 15th. The CIP sets forth a 6-year schedule and financing strategy to accomplish necessary public improvements and meet infrastructure needs. The Planning Board oversees the development of the Capital Improvement Plan, which supports the Board’s responsibilities to prepare and amend the City’s Master Plan.
Residents are encouraged to visit the City’s CIP webpage for viewing of the current CIP, full background on the CIP process and access to the Citizen Project Request form -- download a project request form here or submit your request online.
This year’s CIP schedule and access to the public input form. All project requests will be reviewed by the appropriate City Department and shared with the Planning Board CIP Advisory Committee for consideration in this year’s or future year’s Capital Improvement Program.
