Learn About Stormwater, Raingardens and "Blue" at Public Information Meeting Nov 18

The City of Portsmouth’s Department of Public Works Stormwater Division hosts an Informational Session in the Council Chambers of City Hall on Monday evening November 18th from 6:30 to 8:30.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide an overview of the history, purpose, accomplishments and future regulatory requirements about the City’s Stormwater program. Descriptions of requirements and creative solutions homeowners might implement -- such as raingardens -- are included.

Current and newly elected City officials, together with members of the City’s Planning Board and Conservation Commissions will be invited to attend. City staff, together with their engineering consultant, VHB, will describe the program. Following their presentation, attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions. The general public is encouraged to attend.
