Public Meeting on April 3rd to discuss next phase of Maplewood Avenue Project

Public Works and Sargent Corporation will be hosting a public meeting at the Department of Public Works (680 Peverly Hill Road) on Wednesday, April 3rd at 6 p.m. to discuss the next phase of the Maplewood Avenue reconstruction project.

This project, which began in the summer of 2018, includes a full road reconstruction and underground utility replacement in Maplewood Avenue from Woodbury Avenue to the Maplewood Avenue Bridge over the Route 1 bypass that is anticipated to be complete after this season.

With start-up construction work resuming in mid-April, this meeting will detail expected impacts for this season which will include similar road closures and one-way traffic to last year. Additionally, weekly updates will be made to the project page online to inform residents and drivers of upcoming activity.
