Anthony Pino
CTE Culinary Program
Anthony Pino became the Culinary Arts Teacher at PHS CTE in 2023. He has 26 years of experience managing professional kitchens, along with an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Foodservice Management both from Johnson and Wales University.
Anthony decided to become a teacher because, throughout his years in the restaurant industry, he often found his most enjoyable moments were when he was teaching a new young chef a skill or watching a former apprentice succeed. He thought the best way to continue sharing his experience and passing on knowledge to the next generation of chefs and restaurateurs was through teaching.
Anthony loves being a part of Portsmouth CTE, because he and his colleagues have the opportunity to show students the best parts of the various industries and career paths they might be interested in, and have the resources and team to help them on the career path they choose. He lives in Southern New Hampshire, with his wife, two children, and two golden retrievers. He loves good coffee, fishing from his canoe, tending to his vegetable garden and fig trees, and traveling to new cities to learn about their food and culture.
