How does your program best prepare students for life and career success?

Real-world, in-demand skills are taught.

The best thing about CTE is?

Seeing my students grow in their abilities.

How is Portsmouth HS-CTC different from other schools?

More possibilities to explore and to do independent studies.

Who is the person behind the educator?

Proud parent, love to read and cook, hope to do more traveling.

If you could give students one piece of advice in order to help them grow into the happy, successful individuals that we hope they all become, what would it be?

Care less about what others think.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?

To be able to fly in order to avoid layovers on flights.

If you could meet any one person (dead or alive), to have coffee and conversation with, who would it be and why?

Abraham Lincoln. I would want to know if the country today is what he hoped it would be after the Civil War.

Words of wisdom?

Fail and learn; fail again but better; succeed.
