Notable career achievements in industry or education:

My greatest success has been helping my graduates find their career path. Most have found satisfying careers in business and law and some have achieved the status of Lawyer and Certified Public Accountant.  I assisted in producing a textbook publication in the field of Estates & Trusts. I was also recognized for my dedication to creating classes with Dual Enrollment college credits for my students in 2014 by the Community College System of NH.

Why did you choose to become a teacher?

I enjoy helping students discover a career path in business. Being a teacher allows me to discover firsthand what interests my students most to help guide them to a profitable career path.  I enjoy inspiring them. Education is an investment in themselves!

How does your program best prepare students for life and career success?

Our Business Pathways Program focuses on soft skills and hard skills needed to find the road to business success.

The best thing about CTE is?

Our various pathways can help students discover careers they weren't aware about!!

Who is the person behind the educator?

I am a Wife, Mom, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Dog Mom, Teacher and Friend! I love all my different roles! I love New England--mountains and ocean!

If you could meet any one person (dead or alive), to have coffee and conversation with, who would it be and why?

I'd like to have coffee and cookies with my Nana (for whom I am named after) like we did for years and years growing up. She instilled in me a solid work ethic, to care about others and to always strive for a career path that would not only make money, but would be satisfying. I'd ask Nana what further things I could do to make a difference in the lives of others.

Words of wisdom?

Education after high school is an investment in you! Doesn't matter what you do--get educated to get into the Trades, finish an Associate, Bachelor or graduate degree--invest in yourself!!
