Portsmouth Halloween Parade
October 31, 2019
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Beginning at Peirce Island to conclude at Prescott Park
This year’s parade route proceeds down Daniel Street into Market Square. Please visit www.portsmouthhalloweenparade.org for all parade details.
Residents and visitors alike are encouraged to take advantage of the following transportation and parking amenities throughout Halloween, October 31st:
- The Foundry Place Parking Garage will have its grand opening Halloween morning. To celebrate the grand opening, Mayor Blalock will join City staff and those involved in the project for a ribbon cutting ceremony at 8 a.m. After the ceremony, the garage gates will open to the public at 10 a.m., and will be free of cost to drivers for the entire day. We encourage drivers to take advantage of this opportunity to become familiar with our new facility and enjoy the access to downtown activities surrounding the parade that evening.
- Portsmouth’s Parking Shuttle will also operate from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. This shuttle allows for easy parking at the Connect Community Church's parking lot off Market Street, and quick transportation to the downtown at the Hanover Street bus stop - all free of charge.
