City Clerk Announces Changes in Ward 3 & Ward 4 Voting Locations
August 22, 2020
Portsmouth City Clerk Kelli Barnaby is now assisting residents to prepare for the fall 2020 Election Season. The NH State Primary election takes place on September 8 and the General Election on November 3. Residents may register on the day of the elections and through posted hours on September 1, 2020. Absentee ballot applications are now available from the City Clerk and actual absentee ballots for the NH Primary are also available.
- Ward 3 will now vote at the new Senior Activity Center at 125 Cottage Street (instead of the Robert J. Lister Academy).
- Ward 4 will now vote at Portsmouth High School (instead of the Dondero Elementary School).
Some residents may have received a letter to a voter who is no longer on the list of registered voters. This was a computer error, when “removed” names were included with “registered” names.
