The Portsmouth Office of the City Clerk and the Portsmouth Public Library invite you to register to vote or update your voter registration for the November 5, 2024 election, at the Portsmouth Public Library!

You may attend any of the three upcoming sessions:

  • Wednesday, August 28  from 5 until 6:30 PM
  • Wednesday September 25 from 5 until 6:30 PM
  • Saturday September 28 from 11 AM until 12:30 PM. 

Voter Registration Requirements:

  1. You must be 18 years of age or will be 18 prior to election day.
  2. You must bring a photo identification.
  3. You must bring one of the following: A Birth Certificate, a U.S. Passport, or a U.S. Military Identification
  4. You must bring proof of residency (Portsmouth Physical Address). 

 
The Election will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, and polling hours are 8 AM to 7 PM. For specific questions about registering to vote or general election questions, please contact the Portsmouth City Clerk at (603) 610-7245 or via e-mail at cityclerk@cityofportsmouth.com.

Registration is not required. This is a drop-in event.
