SPLASH 2021
SPLASH! The Art of Portsmouth’s Young People
Digital Exhibit & Art Installation
March 2021
Every year, the Portsmouth Public Library comes alive with art - featuring a wide array of stunning creations that showcase the innovative, inspiring minds of our Visual Arts students from grades K-12. This year, we’ll display selected work outside the library, and showcase art on this webpage - from Dondero, Little Harbour, and New Franklin, as well as the Portsmouth Middle and High Schools. Look for both the digital and outdoor exhibits starting March 15!
This is both a culmination of work since the beginning of the school year, as well as a celebration of Youth Art Month. The artwork, curated by art educators of the Portsmouth School Department, varies in style, medium, and materials.
Portsmouth Green will also celebrate the original work by Portsmouth Middle School students with an outdoor spring walk, “Art on the Green”, in the windows of the local businesses. Stay tuned for more on this show at the end of the month!
