American History

Students in American History have been working on persuasive speech as a vehicle to create change in America. We are using Landmark Supreme Court cases, as well as fictional situations, to learn how to see both sides of an issue and argue their point more effectively. Each step of the process has added another layer to their ability to be persuasive and defend their argument.

Personal Finance

Students in Personal Finance have been learning the finer points of budgeting, the pros and cons of credit cards and the struggles of living off of a minimum wage job. Students have been using those skills to create real-life plans to help them plan their financial futures.
