Instructions for Parents
USE THE LINKS BELOW TO START ONLINE REGISTRATION
New families to the district with no child currently enrolled in any school:
- Navigate to this website & select the academic year you wish you register for

Existing/returning district families who wish to register a new child for 24-25
- Parents who have a child currently attending any Portsmouth school can register a new child for 24-25 by logging into their INFINITE CAMPUS PARENT PORTAL account…

- Once logged in, click the link to “MORE” in the left menu
- Then click the link to “ONLINE REGISTRATION”
- On the “New Student Registration” page, click the “START” button for 24-25
Important Notes for New Families Registering
- The online registration will take roughly 15-20 minutes to complete.
- Kindergarten Age Requirement: If your child will be 5 years old on or before September 30, 2024, they will be eligible to register for the 2024-2025 school year.
- To get started… click the Online Registration link listed above and (if prompted) select the academic year you wish to register your child for.
- Enter your details on the next screen.
- You will then be sent an email that will include a specific link at the bottom that will direct you to start the online registration. (*Please note that this email may go to your “junk” or “spam” folder. The sender will appear as “icmessenger”).
- Parents will be prompted at various steps in the online registration process to upload several documents that will be attached to the child’s registration.
- These documents can be scanned or photographed with a smartphone camera but the text must be legible.
- Registration progress can be saved so that you can return at a later time to complete and submit the registration, if needed.
- Please make note of the registration/application number the system assigns you for “re-entry”.
- Documents parents will be asked to upload into the Online Registration system include:
- A legible copy of the child's Birth Certificate
- Proof of Residency (any of the following)
- Water/sewer bill
- Rental Agreement
- Purchase and Sales
- Homeowner's insurance

- Current Health and Immunization records
- Court-Approved Parenting Plan or Court Custody Agreement (if applicable)
- Certain medical documents that require a health provider to complete can be sent to the school nurse as soon as you have them.
- Hard copies of certain documents may be requested by the school for verification.
- If parents need time to locate and upload all the necessary documentation, please complete and submit the registration “as is”. The school will reach out for any missing documents in due course.

- Once the online registration is fully processed by the school (this could take a month to six weeks), Kindergarten parents will receive an email from their child’s school outlining the next steps for bringing our newest students aboard.
