Summer Reading 2024
This year, the library is delighted to be offering Summer Reading Programs for all ages. This year's theme is Adventure Begins At the Library.
For youth & teens, we use an online platform called Beanstack, where you can register, log your reading and other activities, and see the rewards you've earned. Logging for the whole family is a breeze! To find out more and sign up, click here. If you used Beanstack for previous reading challenges you will not need to re-register.
For early literacy (ages 0 to 5 years ) we'll use old-fashioned paper challenges!
Log your reading between June 17 - August 24 to earn prizes. Read on for more details...
Youth Summer Reading Challenge
Ages Kindergarten-5th grade

Read or listen to books to earn badges and beads. Read more to earn fancier beads and a variety of brag tags and build your own keychain or necklace throughout the summer! Visit Youth Services or contact the library to learn more!
Teen Summer Reading Program
6th - 12th grades

Log reading minutes to earn badges and prizes. For every 15 minutes read earn a virtual badge and a prize! Read more for fancier prizes throughout the summer! Also earn a book for every 5 book reviews you write! Visit Youth Services or contact the library to learn more.
Early Literacy Program
Ages 0 - Kindergarten

A summer literacy program just for babies through preschool! Complete the challenge to earn patches for your PPL tote bag. The summer challenge begins June 17th! Pick up a copy at the library.
