Portsmouth Parking Rates Change on July 1st

Beginning on Saturday, July 1st, Portsmouth residents and visitors will experience updated parking rates at the Hanover Parking Garage as well as for various permit and space rentals.
The Hanover Parking Garage hourly rate will be $1.50 per hour; parking at Sundays at the Garage will remain free for residents. Residents with monthly passes to the Garage will pay $150 per month, while nonresidents will pay $165 per month. Residents must visit the Parking Clerk office at City Hall with their proof of residency in order to be eligible for discounts. The daily maximum charge for the Garage or a lost parking ticket charge will be $30.
In regards to on-street parking, a commercial loading zone permit will be $50, while daily metered space rentals are going up to $35, and $50 for high-occupancy spaces. The metered parking rates will remain the same.
