Portsmouth Downtown Employee Parking Program is Now Year-Round!

Parking for a full shift working downtown can be expensive.

However, qualified employees of downtown Portsmouth businesses can park in the Foundry Place Garage for only $3 per parking session(!)

That's right.  Covered, clean and inexpensive Portsmouth Employee Parking is now available year-round!  No more leaving your wipers up; no more scraping windshields or brushing off snow.

As if all that wasn't great, we have clean, heated public washrooms on site at the Foundry as well.

The reduced fee arrangement is an expansion of the Downtown Workforce Parking Pilot put in place in November 2019.

Any employee of a Downtown Portsmouth businesses can simply complete an application form in person at the Foundry Parking Garage office and then must show a photo ID and proof of a current paycheck issued by a downtown business when making their advance purchases each month. 

Each employee is eligible to buy up to 20 parking stickers per month, depending on how many shifts they are scheduled for.  Each session is good for 10 hours, so parking is a one-and-done for your entire shift!

This means no more running out to move your car, or paying the higher fees associated with the new Stay & Pay pricing on Portsmouth streets and parking lots.
