City Clerk Announces Party Affiliation Change Instructions for State Primary

Portsmouth's City Clerk has announced that anyone wishing to make any changes to party affiliation must do so by June 2, 2020 in order for the change to apply to the State Primary Election on Tuesday, September 8, 2020. Voters may change party affiliation with the clerk of the city where you live except for during the period of time between the first day of the filing period for the primary election, which is June 3, 2020 and the date of the primary election itself. Therefore, party affiliation changes WILL NOT be accepted after June 2, 2020.
