Holiday schedule for City offices

As shown below, various Portsmouth departments have different office hours and closures in affect during this holiday season. Those with car registrations and more due at the end of the month should note that City Hall will not be open on New Year’s Eve, December 31st; instead City Hall will have extended hours on Friday, December 28th, remaining open until 4:30 p.m.

City Hall

• Christmas Eve, Monday, December 24th: Closed
• Christmas Day, Tuesday, December 25th: Closed
• Wednesday, December 26th: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Thursday, December 27th: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Friday, December 28th: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• New Year's Eve, Monday, December 31st: Closed
• New Year's Day, Tuesday, January 1st: Closed
• Wednesday, January 2nd: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Thursday, January 3rd: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Friday, January 4th: 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
