SAIL PORTSMOUTH August 1st-AUGUST 4TH 2019
The City of Portsmouth is pleased to welcome back the Piscataqua Maritime Commission’s Tall Ships Event for 2019. This year, various events will take place from Thursday, August 1st to Sunday, August 4th, showcasing the USCGC Barque Eagle, the Square Topsail Schooner Lynx and the Schooner Roseway, plus the Gundalow, Navy tug Keokuk, New Castle Fireboat and various private vessels! Parking
The City is pleased to announce that users of the Foundry Garage can receive a $3 all-day flat rate for each day of the event. Event goers must bring their parking ticket to the cashier for a validation prior to paying for parking and exiting the facility.
Parking Shuttle from Foundry Garage
As in 2019, the Parking Division will provide a shuttle in an effort to reduce parking and traffic congestion in the NH Port Authority area. There will be two shuttles, which will run on the following Schedule each day of the event on a 15-minute loop (30-minute loop during the lunch hour as the drivers take lunch).
Thursday, August 1st: No Shuttle Scheduled
Friday, August 2nd: 8:30am – 5:30pm
Saturday, August 3rd: 8:30am – 5:30pm
Sunday, August 4th: 8:30am – 5:30pm
Pick-up/Drop-off points
The pick-up point will be a temporary bus stop located in front of the Foundry Parking Garage. The drop-off point will be the Granite State Minerals Parking Lot.
