Portsmouth City Council Increases Income for Elderly and Disabled Exemptions: Deadline to File is April 15, 2023
March 5, 2023The City Council recently voted to increase the income limits for both the elderly and disabled exemptions. Income limits will increase from $46,124 to $50,137 for single taxpayers and from $63,108 to $68,598 for married couples. Total assets for both exemptions will remain at $500,000 whether single or married.
Islington Street Corridor Reconstruction Project Resumes in April with Phase 2A -- Public Meeting on March 8, 2023
March 4, 2023Construction on the Islington Street Corridor Reconstruction Project is tentatively scheduled to resume in mid April. A Public Pre-Construction Meeting is planned for March 8, 2023 at 6 PM in City Hall Conference Room A.
