City of Portsmouth Concludes Sale of $30.5 Million in General Obligation Bonds
April 13, 2021The City of Portsmouth has completed the sale of $30,514,594 in 20-year general obligation bonds to fund approved projects for General, Water and Sewer Fund projects, with bond premiums of $2,588,094.
City Finalizes Bid Documents for 95 Mechanic Street Seawall and Wharf Replacement Project

April 12, 2021On Thursday, March 4th, 2021, the Board of Police Commissioners voted unanimously to promote Officer Jordan Wells to the rank of Sergeant assigned to the Patrol Division. His appointment became effective on April 4th, 2021.
City Council Plans Site Visit to Bartlett Street Project on April 10 at 10 am
April 7, 2021Members of the Portsmouth City Council are planning a site visit on Saturday, April 10 starting at 10 am to discuss a project proposed for 105 Bartlett Street. Members of the public who are interested in participating are welcome to join the Council at Paul McEachern Park at the end of Mill Pond Way. Parking is extremely limited onsite, so residents are encouraged to walk to the park.

McIntyre Project Subcommittee Plans Final Public Design Review on April 20
April 6, 2021The McIntyre Subcommittee with assistance from Boston-based urban design firm Principle Group, invite residents to participate in a final round of design review on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from 6 to 8 pm, via Zoom. The intent of the session is to deliberate on the opportunity for new public space to enjoy at McIntyre. Principle Group will present the final draft McIntyre project sketch, developed using community input gathered over the past four months.
