DWI Checkpoint Results - 2 Arrested

            On Friday, August 24th the Portsmouth Police Department conducted a sobriety checkpoint at 500 Market St.  The checkpoint, which was authorized by the Rockingham County Superior Court, screened drivers heading outbound on Market St. between 10:00 PM and 2:00AM.  209 drivers were screened and 2 adults were arrested. Assisting in the operation were members of the Portsmouth Police Explorer Post.  

            Michaela Volk – DOB 7/21/95 – 1328 Satterly Road, Ferrisburgh VT

            Arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated

            Shawna McGrath – DOB 4/17/86 – 11 Ridgecrest Drive, Exeter NH

            Arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated
