Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault

On May 23, 2019, the Portsmouth Police Department arrested the following individual for Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault:

Carter Kimbrough

DOB 2/28/74

1436 Nocoseka Trl Apt S-7

Anniston, AL

The charge stemmed from an investigation into an allegation that Kimbrough had sexually assaulted an 18-year-old female at a Beechstone Apartments residence, after a night out in Portsmouth. Kimbrough was released on $1000 cash bail and will be arraigned at the Rockingham County Court on May 31, 2019 at 8:30am per the Felonies First Protocol.
