DWI Crash Arrest

On April 17th, 2021 at 9:26 PM, Portsmouth Police and Fire Departments were dispatched to Bridge Street in Portsmouth for a report of a female subject who appeared to be intoxicated and it was believed she struck another party with her vehicle.
An on-scene investigation by officers determined that the female vehicle operator had struck a pedestrian, causing serious but non-life threatening injuries to their lower extremities. The injured party was transported to Portsmouth Regional Hospital by the Portsmouth Fire Department. Based on evidence and statements gathered at the scene, the following subject was placed under arrest.
REBECA YUHASZ – Age 31
Resident of Exeter NH
Yuhasz was charged with the following:
1) 2 Counts of Aggravated DWI – Class B Felony;
2) Reckless Conduct – Class B Felony; and
3) Driving While Intoxicated - Class B Misdemeanor
Following her arrest, Yuhasz was transported to Portsmouth Regional Hospital for evaluation of injuries she received. She was then transported to Portsmouth Police Headquarters for booking. Yuhasz was given $2,500 personal recognizance bail and will be arraigned in Rockingham County Superior Court at a date to be determined.
The Portsmouth Police Department Investigative Division is continuing to investigate this case and additional charges may be brought forward.
