Sale of Controlled Narcotics Arrest

On November 4, 2019, the Portsmouth Police Department arrested the following individual for Sale of Controlled Narcotics, a Class B Felony.

Everton Sterling

Age 35

From Manchester, NH

Sterling had previously been arrested in Maine on the Portsmouth PD warrant, and was extradited to Portsmouth yesterday. The charge stemmed from an investigation conducted by the Portsmouth Police High Intensity Drug Interdiction Team (HIDIT) along with members of “Granite Shield”, a state-funded program intended for targeting opioid distribution in the city. Sterling was held on an additional probation warrant and transported to the Rockingham County Jail, pending arraignment at the Rockingham County Court per the Felonies First Protocol.
