As of the end of the business day on Monday, March 16 and effective until otherwise directed City Hall is closed to the public. If you are submitting an application for an upcoming meeting, we will continue to accept applications and payments through the Planning Department’s online permitting system.
Due to the evolving COVID-19 situation, all land use board and commission meetings scheduled for the next two weeks have been postponed until further notice. Please check the Planning Department web page to confirm status or contact the Planning Department directly at (603) 610-7216 or email planning@cityofportsmouth.com.
As news of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak continues to evolve, we wanted to update you about the scheduled public meeting for tonight and the precautions we are taking to help ensure the health and safety of staff and meeting participants. The City is closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and are taking action based on local, state, and national public health experts.
NOTE: EFFECTIVE MARCH 13, 2020 THIS MEETING HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
Supplemental construction mitigation funding provided by the Little Bay Bridge project will end June 30, 2020. After that date, Wildcat Transit will reduce service frequencies on Route 4 (Portsmouth-Newington-Durham) during both full and reduced service periods.
Two public hearings are scheduled to receive rider feedback on the anticipated service reductions:
