The Planner Society: Quarterly Self Check-In, Wednesday April 24

Do you feel that your New Year plans and resolutions have been forgotten in the daily routine? Has the excitement about new habits fizzled? Have plans to incorporate more connection, play, or fun gotten derailed with urgent matters? You aren’t alone. Come join us for a Quarterly Self Check-In. We will pause, reflect, plan, and remember to celebrate ourselves too! Journal questions will be provided.

Registration is required to receive the Zoom link.

Genealogy Workshop: Research Huddle, Sunday April 21

Join us at the library in the Special Collections Room and be part of our Research Huddle! In sports, a huddle is when the players gather in a circle to strategize, motivate, or celebrate. We think genealogists should do the same!

This is the perfect opportunity to dig into your personal history and tell your family’s story. Use the library’s print collections and research databases to progress with your fact-finding. We’ll gather to use library resources, share our successes, learn from fellow researchers, and overcome our research stumbling blocks!

Guitar Sunday @ PPL Featuring Tim Scott, Sunday April 21

Guitar Sunday will be hosted at the Portsmouth Public Library, and we are pleased to feature a free performance by Timothy Scott, a seacoast-based classical guitarist and student at the University of New Hampshire.

Tim has had the privilege of playing alongside Opera Maine and the UNH Symphony Orchestra, enriching and expanding his musical horizons during his studies. Timothy's genuine love for the instrument has led to a repertoire that spans genres and a dedication to precise performance.
